Start of a Career

Tomorrow is the start of my career. I will joining my first ship, the Maersk Shanghai, as a 2nd phase engineering cadet. I will fly to Frankfurt first with a connecting flight to Cairo and then have a 200 kilometre connection between the airport and Port Said. The boat is already half way through its journey starting in the USA and finishing somewhere in Asia, I will join at the start of the Suez Canal early on the 16th May. The duration of my sea phase is still unknown. Once I am on board and settled I will update you all with more information.
